Our History

A lasting presence in Gibraltar

From our beginnings in Gibraltar to an international property portfolio, our story spans more than six decades of development, investment and ongoing property management.

  • 1960 The beginning

    Mr Louis R. Peralta founded GibFirst, laying the foundations for a property business with a lasting presence in Gibraltar.

  • 1967 Gibraltar Heights

    Combining apartments, offices and commercial premises on Main Street, Gibraltar Heights became part of our portfolio in the heart of town.

  • 1976 Beyond Gibraltar

    Our property interests extended to Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom, adding an international dimension to our Gibraltar-based business.

  • 1986 Water Gardens

    Water Gardens brought together homes, offices and ground-floor commercial spaces across six buildings in the north-west of Gibraltar.

  • 2007 Investing in our buildings

    The external refurbishment of Leanse Place marked a further investment in the upkeep and presentation of this established commercial building.

  • Today More than six decades of experience

    GibFirst continues to combine property development and management, drawing on decades of experience in Gibraltar and an established international portfolio.
